Senior Pastor

Pastor James was born in Portland, Maine but grew up in Ida, Louisiana. He was saved at age 13 and called into pastoral ministry at 16. He pastored his first church at the age of 21 and has served in several churches in Arkansas, Tennessee, and now Michigan where he has ministered as Grace Church’s senior pastor since March of 2011. Pastor James has received a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries from Williams Baptist College, a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree in expository preaching from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. God has blessed him with three children: Kennedy, Madison, and Elijah. Pastor James is wholeheartedly committed to responsibly and relevantly preaching/teaching the Bible, leading Grace church, and reaching the world to the glory of the Lord Jesus.
