Val Kelley was born and grew up in Milan, Michigan.  She became a believer as a child.  She moved to Jackson County in the fall of 1994 when she began attending Spring Arbor College.  She graduated from Spring Arbor College with a BS in Accounting.  She has always loved math.  She met Michael S. Kelley, Jr., her husband, through a mutual friend who attended Grace Church.  They were married the next year. Mike and Val have been married over 15 years, have 2 children, Enoch and Glena, and they continue to live in the Jackson area.  She collects almost anything related to sunflowers. Her favorite color is purple.

Val has attended Grace Church since the fall of 2003. She has served the Lord at Grace Church in the Worship Arts Dept. as a choir member, the library, and in Celebrate Recovery. She is currently serving in the RainForest Preschool Ministries at the Registration Desk and as a substitute teacher.  She has been Treasurer at Grace Church since the fall of 2015.
